On February 4, in Addis Ababa, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ethiopia, Adylbek Tultemirov, presented his credentials to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mahmoud Ali Yusuf, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
The ceremony took place at the headquarters of the African Union and was marked by an atmosphere of goodwill and mutual respect.
Tultemirov expressed gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized the significance of Kyrgyzstan obtaining observer status in the organization.
Mahmoud Ali Yusuf, in turn, congratulated Ambassador Tultemirov on the beginning of his work and noted the importance of establishing dialogue and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the African Union.
During the conversation, the prospects for joint work on issues of mutual interest were discussed.
