Rustam Mamasadikov has been relieved of his duties as Secretary of the Security Council and appointed as the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for National Security

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, signed a decree according to which Rustam Alaybekovich Mamasadikov is relieved of his duties as Secretary of the Security Council. This decision was formalized in accordance with paragraph 8 of part 1 of article 70 and article 71 of the country's Constitution, as reported by the press service of the presidential administration.

In addition to this, Mamasadikov has been appointed as the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for National Security, which was also done based on article 71 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic.

It is worth noting that on the same day, President Japarov signed a decree relieving Kamchybek Tashiev of his duties as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security. Furthermore, three of his deputies were also relieved of their positions.

Currently, Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov has been appointed as the Acting Head of the Committee, and his candidacy will be submitted to the Jogorku Kenesh for approval as the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security.

Sadyr Japarov also commented on the resignation of Kamchybek Tashiev, emphasizing the importance of these changes in the leadership of security agencies.
