At the opening of the renovated kindergarten "Künün-Biy" on February 11, in response to questions from the press, the mayor emphasized that he respects the president's decision and noted that Tashiev expressed his position.
“I belong to the number of people who are close to him. He is my friend. Tashiev expressed his point of view — you probably know this. He stated that he would comply with the president's decision. Friends who have gone through a lot together should not be subjected to politicization. Since the moment Sadyr Nurkhojaevich and General Tashiev began their joint work, many changes have occurred in the country. There have been ups and downs — what will happen next, we will see. I have already expressed my opinion,” Toktorbaev said.
Regarding Tashiev's health condition, the mayor reported that he is doing well. He has five stents installed in his heart, one of which has shifted. Tashiev has requested the president for a 15-day trip to Germany for the repositioning of the stent and treatment.
“I support the president's decision. If I am told 'leave now,' I will write a statement and leave,” Toktorbaev added.
When the mayor was asked about Tashiev's return to Kyrgyzstan, he replied: “I cannot say for sure. I hope he returns soon.”
- On February 10, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree relieving Kamchybek Tashiev of his duties as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
