At the current meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the parliamentarians decided to suspend work in order to nominate candidates for the position of speaker. Vice-Speaker Chyngyz Ajibayev announced a break until 12:00, after which the deputies went for a meeting.
Currently, five deputy groups are functioning in the parliament:
- "Ata-Jurt"
- "Mekenchil"
- "Eldik"
- "Ala-Too"
- "Adilet Kyrgyzstan"
It is also worth noting that deputies Elvira Surabaldiyeva, Bolot Ibragimov, and Eruulan Kokulov are working individually.
