At a recent meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, several bills were approved.
In particular, the deputies reviewed and supported the following initiatives:
- The bill amending the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Normative Legal Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic" was adopted in the third reading, initiated by deputy Dastan Bekeshev;
- The constitutional bill "On Amendments to Certain Constitutional Legislative Acts of the KR," concerning the Justice Council, the Supreme Court, and local courts, also passed the third reading. The initiative was proposed by deputies of the VII convocation;
- The bill on gender equality, which includes amendments to the legislative acts of the KR, was approved in the third reading. The initiators were deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the VII convocation;
- The bill recognizing certain legislative acts of the KR as outdated was adopted in the third reading, initiated by the chairman of the cabinet of ministers;
- The bill amending the Law "On State Civil Service and Municipal Service" passed the second reading, with the chairman of the cabinet of ministers also being the initiator.
- In addition, a bill amending the Code on Non-Tax Revenues was reviewed, initiated by the chairman of the cabinet of ministers.
