The Tourism Development Support Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, is preparing for the country's participation in the major international tourism exhibition ITB Berlin, which will take place in 2026. As part of the preparations, a working meeting was held, attended by local tour operators, representatives of tourist destinations, and the Kyrgyz Association of Tourism Organizations (KATO). During the discussions, participants focused on creating a National Stand and strategies for presenting Kyrgyzstan's tourism potential.
It has been reported that at the exhibition in 2026, Kyrgyzstan will be represented by 11 tour companies, 3 destinations, and KATO. The National Stand will be designed according to a unified concept and will focus on promoting the country's image, establishing B2B contacts, and expanding international cooperation.
The fund noted that participation in such international events is a key tool for strengthening business ties and promoting Kyrgyzstan's tourism opportunities in the European market, where tens of thousands of professionals from different corners of the world gather annually.
