Deputies of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on science, education, innovative development, and information technologies, as well as culture, sports, and youth affairs expressed dissatisfaction regarding the absence of Ainura Orozobekova, the Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration, at the meeting.
The first item on the agenda was the draft law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts in the Field of Labor, Social Protection, and the Repeal of Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic," which Orozobekova was supposed to address.
During the meeting, a government representative requested to postpone the discussion of the draft law due to the Deputy Minister's delay.
The chairperson of the committee, Toktobubu Ashymbekova, noted that such situations occur regularly.
Deputy Gulai Mashrapova emphasized that such behavior does not correspond to the status of a civil servant and pointed out that the Deputy Minister demonstrates disrespect towards the Jogorku Kenesh. She suggested postponing the discussion of the issue and considering the Deputy Minister's accountability for her absence.
As a result, the deputies decided to postpone the discussion of the draft law to a later date.
