According to information from the regional emergency management agency, the incident took place on Sunday, February 15, 2026. The flames engulfed a Finnish building located on Lenin Street in Kara-Suu, completely destroying it, with a total area of 295 square meters.
The first fire brigade from the 25th unit of the Kara-Suu district arrived at the scene at 07:23. The second unit joined the firefighting efforts at 07:38, and a third unit was called for assistance at 08:21 due to the scale of the fire.
Thanks to the joint efforts of the three teams, the fire was extinguished by 12:19.
Unfortunately, the building was completely destroyed as a result of the fire. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties. Currently, emergency management experts are conducting an investigation to determine the causes of the fire and assess the material damage.
