During the meeting with the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the new acting Minister Urmatbek Shamyrkanov was introduced by Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Kasymaliev noted that Shamyrkanov's appointment is due to his significant experience working within the Ministry of Emergency Situations. He emphasized the importance of the ministry's work in the face of modern challenges, which requires high qualifications and quick responses.
“With your experience and knowledge, you are capable of establishing effective interaction with other state structures and enhancing preventive measures to reduce the risks of emergencies,” added the head of the cabinet.
In conclusion of his speech, Kasymaliev wished Shamyrkanov success in his new responsible position and expressed readiness to support him in fulfilling all assigned tasks.
It should be noted that the president has confirmed Shamyrkanov's candidacy for the position of acting Minister of Emergency Situations. Currently, his candidacy is awaiting approval in the Jogorku Kenesh for final appointment.
