As part of the event, the mayor emphasized that the city administration places great importance on the development of the material and technical base of rescue services. In 2023, approximately 5 million soms were allocated to support the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and in the last two years, this amount has increased to 10 million soms.
“We will continue to support the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations by creating the necessary conditions for their work. The new equipment will become an important tool for you in complex and responsible activities, helping you to be prepared for any challenges and to respond promptly to the needs of the citizens,” noted Junushaliev.
Last year, numerous measures were taken to enhance safety in the city: riverbanks were reinforced, a dam with a volume of 50,000 m³ was built in the Manka-Zhar gorge, and modern rescue equipment was acquired, the city administration reports.
