Today, February 17, Eldar Sulaymanov, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh from electoral district No. 5, submitted a statement of resignation at his own request. This statement was considered by the members of the Central Election Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic, who unanimously supported his decision.

Sulaymanov held his position for only two months as part of the VIII convocation. According to the election results, the next candidate for the deputy position from district No. 5 may be Azizbek Abdullayev, who received 7.35% of the votes from voters.
