
On February 20, a meeting will be held at the Chingiz Aitmatov Cinema House dedicated to the creation of an Advisory Council on the development of animation and children's audiovisual content, as reported by the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan.
The Department of Cinematography is the initiator of this important initiative. The main goal is to promote national animation focused on educational and developmental aspects for children and adolescents, as well as to strengthen cultural identity and support local authors and studios.
The future council will aim to develop strategies for the production of animation and children's content in the country, as well as to facilitate the creation of high-quality and competitive national products.
Its responsibilities will include developing recommendations, reviewing projects, supporting scripts and pilot works, as well as developing works based on national values. International experience will also be implemented, quality standards and an age rating system will be established, and cooperation with educational and creative institutions will be organized.
The Ministry emphasizes that the creation of the council will be a significant step in the systematic development of national animation and the formation of a sustainable ecosystem for quality children's content.
