The presentation of the new chairman — Aibek Mamyraliev — took place at the Antimonopoly Regulation Service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic on February 17, 2026. The Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Benazir Nurlanova, introduced the staff to the new leader.
During the event, the deputy minister highlighted the main priorities of the agency's work, which include the development of a competitive environment, protection of consumer rights, and monitoring compliance with antimonopoly legislation.
Particular attention was given to the issues of monitoring prices for essential goods. The service has been tasked with strengthening control in markets to prevent unauthorized price increases and to identify cases of hidden price collusion.
Benazir Nurlanova also noted that Aibek Mamyraliev's experience and management skills will be the key to the effective execution of the service's tasks and will assist in a systematic approach to addressing key issues related to the development of competition.
