The event was attended by the city mayor, representatives of the city administration, and the elders.
During the meeting, the participants discussed three key issues.
The first item was the report of the council of elders, which contained information about the work previously completed. Special emphasis was placed on efforts to maintain public order, work with youth, as well as participation in resolving family conflicts and actions aimed at strengthening unity and harmony in society. The participants actively discussed the presented report.
The next issue was the election of a new chairman and the approval of the composition of the city council of elders. As a result of the voting, Sabyrzhan Toktogulov was elected as chairman, and the new council was approved, consisting of 11 members.
The third issue concerned the organization of anniversary events in honor of the 80th anniversary of the hydro-builder, climber, and installer Mamasala Sabirov. Participants, including the Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic and hydro-builder Akbaraly Kabaev, appealed to the mayor's office with a request to organize celebrations for this event.
