- The volume of industrial production in the Chui region in 2024 amounted to 355 billion 818 million soms, which was the subject of discussion at the board meeting on February 18. Sanjar Zhantayev, who holds the position of the first deputy representative of the president in the Chui region, presented this information in the context of preparing for the socio-economic development of the region until 2026.

According to Zhantayev, the index of physical production volume increased by 10% compared to 2024, which is equivalent to a growth of 100 billion 243 million soms.

The share of industrial production in the region in the total volume of republican production amounted to 44.5%, which was also noted in his report.

The main driver of growth in gross regional product (GRP) was the processing industry. "The production of vehicles has increased several times, and the food industry showed growth of more than 20%. The sectors of electrical equipment and pharmaceuticals also developed steadily. These sectors are crucial for the domestic market and reducing dependence on imports," he noted.

The growth of nearly 10% was ensured by projects approved by the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers under the program "100 Industrial Enterprises – 2025," which led to the opening of 36 large and medium-sized enterprises.

Among the new facilities:

• Alamudun district — 7 enterprises: 4 brick factories, 2 garment factories, and 1 coal mine, creating 600 jobs.

• Jayil district — 1 enterprise for the production of explosives, creating 20 jobs.
