Public figure, lawyer, and historian Zainidin Kurmanov expressed his opinion in an interview with the "Kabar" agency regarding the recent decision of the Constitutional Court concerning the terms of presidential powers.
“From the perspective of politics and law, this was an absolutely correct decision. It is now clear when the presidential elections will take place. They will be held within the previously established timelines set by the special electoral commissions that were involved in the transition from the old Constitution to the new one,” Kurmanov noted.
He also emphasized the importance of the approach demonstrated by the head of state in addressing issues: “This is an example of how situations in the country should be resolved, demonstrating a culture of legal interaction,” he added.
