The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, presented the new mayor of the city of Osh.

According to the decree of President Sadyr Japarov, Janarbek Akayev has been appointed as the mayor of the city of Osh, who previously worked as a deputy in the Jogorku Kenesh.

Jenyshbek Toktorbaev, who held the position of mayor since January 2025, has been relieved of his duties.

The personnel decisions were made on February 18, 2026.
