Deputy Bolo Ibrahimov was elected as the Vice-Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh upon the proposal of the "Mekenchil" parliamentary group. He was supported by 53 deputies, while 16 voted against. He replaced Karim Khandzheza, who resigned for personal reasons.
Erulan Kokulov previously expressed the opinion that some of his colleagues unjustly hold positions in the committee and as vice-speakers, urging them to reconsider their decisions. Former speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu announced his early resignation this week.
Azizbek Abdullayev took Eldar Sulaymanov's place in the Jogorku Kenesh after his voluntary departure. According to the Central Election Commission, he is 37 years old and graduated from the law faculty of Osh State University in 2011. He began his career in 2010 in the patrol service and later worked in the Aravan District Department of Internal Affairs.
Jainak Usen uulu was appointed head of the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh. He is known as a media manager and previously held the position of General Director of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation.
Minura Abdykalykova was also appointed as the press secretary of the speaker of parliament.
