Farhat Iminov, head of the Secretariat of the National Council for the Development of Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technologies under the President, recently held a video call with Justin Sun, the founder of the TRON blockchain platform. According to the secretariat, the discussion covered many important aspects, including the current activities of the council, the state of the virtual asset market, and significant changes in the institutional and regulatory sphere.
During the meeting, Sun noted the rapid development of the virtual asset sector in Kyrgyzstan and expressed confidence in the great potential for joint projects with TRON.
One of the key points of the meeting was the discussion of the possibility of expanding the Kyrgyz national stablecoin KGST, which is already listed on leading global cryptocurrency exchanges such as HTX, which has close ties with TRON. Participants in the discussion considered options for synergy with TRON's infrastructure for the further progress of KGST, including technology integration and the expansion of the online transaction platform.
