Al Jazeera's report indicates that among the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces, there are citizens representing various countries. Specifically, 5,000 to 6,000 individuals are citizens of France and Russia, while there are over 1,000 citizens from the United Kingdom, Germany, and Ukraine.

During the conflict, hundreds of citizens from Central Asia also fought in the Israeli army, including 264 individuals from Uzbekistan. These soldiers represent five different nationalities, although exact data on their national affiliation is not disclosed. It is known that they hold Israeli citizenship.

Additionally, there are reports of 189 citizens from Kazakhstan, 52 citizens from Kyrgyzstan, 31 citizens from Turkmenistan, and 8 citizens from Tajikistan participating in the conflict.

The article raises the issue of the legal responsibility of foreign citizens if their actions are deemed to violate international humanitarian norms. Human rights organizations emphasize the need for investigations in their countries of origin and the potential for accountability.

Central Asian authorities have repeatedly warned their citizens about the consequences of criminal liability for participating in foreign armed forces.
