This document also establishes requirements for the creation, updating, and use of geodetic and cartographic materials, as well as regulating the activities of GLONASS/GPS systems and similar technologies. It also outlines the procedure for accessing state geodetic data.
The main goal of the bill is to digitize geodesy and cartography processes, create a unified spatial data repository, and simplify procedures for government agencies and businesses. Additionally, it aims to comply with international standards, including the requirements of the EAEU and the UN in the field of spatial data infrastructure.
