The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, recently held a meeting with the active members of the city of Manas, during which he introduced the new mayor, Abdupat Matkalikov. In his speech, Kasymaliev expressed gratitude to the former mayor, Ernist Ormokov, for his five years of service in this position. “You have made a significant contribution to the development of Manas, and I thank you for that. The work to improve the city will continue,” he noted.

The head of the government also emphasized the need for municipal employees to strictly fulfill their duties. He stressed that everyone should focus on their work and avoid political interference. “It is necessary to completely exclude topics related to the division between the ‘north and south,’” added Kasymaliev.

Abdupata Matkalikov, for his part, admitted that he had not visited Manas for the past three years and did not expect to return as mayor. He noted that, looking at the new building, he contemplated the feasibility of creating an industrial facility at this site, such as a factory.

Kasymaliev expressed confidence that under Matkalikov's leadership, active construction of new production facilities in the city would begin. He also urged law enforcement agencies not to exert pressure on businesses and recommended that the executive authorities establish constructive cooperation with investors.
