Deputy Dastan Bekeshev presented a draft amendment to the law "On the elections of the president and deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh," which has already been submitted for consideration in parliament.
Among the proposed changes is the introduction of monetary rewards for those who report attempts to bribe voters, as well as free transportation on election day. Additionally, activists will be able to receive certificates and other tokens of appreciation.
It should be noted that this draft does not include punitive measures or other forms of punishment that were previously suggested by some deputies to "stimulate voter activity."
