- The Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic plans to extend the average loan term for small and medium enterprises from 32 to 42 months by 2028. This is outlined in the draft Program for the Support and Development of SMEs until 2030.

In the ministry, it was noted that "limited access to financing, high cost of loans, short borrowing terms, as well as complex and fragmented regulatory procedures create a sense of instability and increase investment risks for entrepreneurs."
