According to the agency's information, on February 16 of this year, special operations aimed at combating crime, named "Bandit" and "Theft," were conducted in the area, organized by the drug enforcement department.
During one of these operations, a "VAZ" brand vehicle was stopped on the Bishkek–Osh highway for inspection.
During the inspection of the vehicle, a package in white cellophane with a characteristic odor was found in the cabin, weighing 272 grams. A forensic chemical examination has been appointed for the seized substance.
The investigative authorities of the Toktogul district registered this incident in the Unified Register of Crimes under Article 283 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to the illegal production of drugs and psychotropic substances without the intent to sell, and initiated a criminal case.
During the investigation, four local residents were detained: A. A. (born in 1992), K. Zh. (born in 1992), R. S. (born in 1992), and A. uulu K. (born in 1991). By court decision, they have been placed in custody for two months.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
