Kyrgyzstan and the British Royal Family discussed education, climate, and the Games of Nomads

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, participated in a joint meeting with representatives of the British Royal Family and heads of foreign policy agencies from Central Asia on February 25, 2026, in London.
During the meeting, Kulubaev discussed with His Royal Highness Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, the possibilities of expanding cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the United Kingdom in the political, economic, and investment spheres. He emphasized that the republic is open to further interaction and development of relations with the United Kingdom.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs paid special attention to issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, including education, English language learning, climate initiatives, and tourism. Kulubaev also noted the importance of the upcoming sixth World Nomad Games, which represent a unique international initiative aimed at preserving cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence among peoples. He emphasized that these games contribute to the preservation of the heritage of nomadic civilizations and strengthen dialogue between cultures.

The event was also attended by students from Central Asia studying in the UK under scholarship programs, as well as representatives of leading educational institutions in the country.
After the discussions, a ceremonial event took place featuring the Royal Horse Guards and an honor guard, which concluded the meeting.
