“At that time, there was only one photo studio in Sokuluk for the entire district. After the district song contest, the participants gathered there for a group photo,” Maniyasov said.
The image features not only the members of the creative group but also the future deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Edyta Taygaraeva, who was a 4-year-old girl at that time. After the contest, she was taken to the photo studio, where she posed with the adult participants.
Maniyasov continued to share details about the photo: “Next to little Edyta is her grandmother, and my mother is also in the picture. The man with the accordion worked as a veterinarian in the village for many years. Next to him is Sadyr Kolkhobekovich, who was the head of the ayil okmotu at that time and later headed the apparatus of the Sokuluk district state administration. Edyta showed an interest in singing from an early age and participated in various contests and events,” he added.
