According to President Sadyr Japarov, the implementation of video surveillance systems has led to a significant reduction in crime by 73%. This became known during a republican meeting held at "Yntymak Ordo".

The President emphasized that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has carried out a large-scale digital transformation that has already covered all regions of the country. The installation of modern video surveillance systems with round-the-clock monitoring is ongoing, which, according to him, contributes to the reduction of crime rates.

“The number of registered crimes has decreased by 73%. In places where cameras are installed, cases of serious offenses have decreased by 68%,” he noted.

Sadyr Japarov also added that efforts to create a strong state must be supported by real actions to protect borders and ensure justice, as well as guarantee safety for all citizens.

At the meeting, in addition to the president, members of the cabinet of ministers, heads of various state bodies, authorized representatives of the president in the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, as well as district akims are present.
