At the republican meeting held at "Yntymak Ordo," the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, announced that from 2021 to 2025, revenue from the operation of the Kumtor deposit amounted to 5.115 billion US dollars, which is equivalent to more than 440 billion soms.

The President also noted that in the form of taxes and mandatory payments, the state budget received 1.176 billion dollars, which is over 100 billion soms.

"Over the past four years, the republic has received 441 million dollars, or more than 38 billion soms, in the form of dividends. For comparison, from 1994 to 2021, Kyrgyzstan earned only 100 million dollars in dividends from Kumtor. This topic has long raised many questions and disputes, including my own. The strategic facility was at the center of political games and accusations. Citizens were concerned about whether the wealth of Kyrgyzstan was truly being used in the interests of the people. Since my entry into politics, the main goal has been to return Kumtor to state ownership. Thanks to the firm position of the state, in 2021, Kumtor was fully transferred to the ownership of the Kyrgyz Republic," Japarov emphasized.

He added that this decision was an important step towards strengthening the economic independence of the country.

It is worth noting that a republican meeting is currently taking place at "Yntymak Ordo," summarizing the results of 2025 with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov.

The event is attended by members of the government, heads of state institutions, authorized representatives of the president in the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, as well as district akims.
