Media: Former Russian Senator Dzhabrailov Committed Suicide in Central Moscow

According to publications Mash and "112", Umar Dzhabrailov, a former senator, committed suicide in Moscow. His body was found in a hotel on Tverskaya Street, with a pistol beside him. According to Mash, the businessman was initially hospitalized in serious condition without identification, and later he was recognized by the hotel security.

It should be noted that Dzhabrailov had a previous suicide attempt in 2020, but he was saved at that time. Official sources have not yet confirmed information about his death.

From 2004 to 2009, Dzhabrailov represented the Chechen Republic in the Federation Council of Russia and held the position of deputy chairman of the committee on international affairs.
