Currently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan is actively working on issues of security and protection of the rights of its citizens in countries located in the Middle East. An important topic has been the discussion of the possible evacuation of Kyrgyz citizens in cooperation with Kazakhstan, as reported by the director of the Consular Department, Seytek Jumakadyrov.
He noted that the consulates of Kyrgyzstan in countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan are taking measures to address the problems faced by citizens on the ground.
“No cases of injuries among our citizens have been recorded. The situation in the mentioned countries remains stable. Citizens whose hotel bookings have expired continue to stay in the same hotels,” he added.
However, some Kyrgyz tourists are experiencing difficulties in Dubai and Qatar. Currently, alternative evacuation routes are being developed, and measures are being implemented in stages. Negotiations are underway with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan to jointly address the issues that have arisen,” concluded Seytek Jumakadyrov.
