
A temporary ban on the export of limestone-shell from Kyrgyzstan has come into effect.
According to the information from the government press service, the decision to impose the ban was made for a period of six months. It concerns the export of shell limestone that was extracted or produced in the territory of Kyrgyzstan, in its raw form or in the form of blocks and slabs of rectangular or square shape, classified under codes 2515 11 000 0 and 2515 12 000 0 of the EAEU customs tariff, beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
This decision was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
Government authorities were also instructed to take measures to prevent the illegal export of the specified goods.
