The Turkish Communications Authority noted that recent reports of an alleged strike on an American military base in the country have no basis.
The agency emphasized that there are no military bases belonging to foreign states on Turkish territory. Sovereignty and control over air, sea, and land space, as well as military facilities, are entirely in the hands of the Republic of Turkey.
“Our country has not been attacked. The information that attempts to present Turkey in the context of regional conflicts is clear disinformation,” said agency representatives.Additionally, the agency reported that the country's defense and security system is functioning normally, and all actions are being monitored by the relevant authorities.
The agency urged citizens not to believe unverified rumors and to rely only on official statements from responsible structures.
