Edil Baisalov's visit took place from November 12 to 13, 2025, in the Republic of Turkey. During his stay, he held a meeting with the country's Vice President, Cevdet Yılmaz, where he expressed condolences regarding the tragic events that occurred on November 11, 2025, when a Turkish military transport aircraft crashed.
During the meeting, important issues concerning bilateral relations were discussed, including political, trade-economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed on the need to enhance cooperation between ministries and agencies to implement the Action Plan adopted at the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, which took place in Bishkek in September 2025.
Edil Baisalov also met with the Turkish Minister of Health, Kemal Memişoğlu, where aspects of cooperation in healthcare, medical education, and scientific research were discussed.
Additionally, in Ankara, he met with the Director General of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), Mehmet Zahid Sobacı.
At the end of his visit, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the "Beştepe Millet Ormanı" park, located on the territory of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Turkey.
In this park, it is planned to install Kyrgyz national yurts, which were gifted by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, as a sign of friendship and brotherhood between the peoples of the two countries.
