President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, announced the start of the evacuation process for citizens who are abroad, particularly in Middle Eastern countries, and are unable to return home.
Due to the introduction of restrictions on air travel in the United Arab Emirates, an agreement has been reached with the government of Oman to conduct two charter flights to evacuate 300 Kyrgyz citizens.
According to the president, if permission is granted for flights from the UAE, all remaining citizens will be able to be evacuated within one day.
Special attention will be given to the evacuation of women and children, who will leave the territory via Oman first.
The head of state urged citizens to remain calm and exercise patience in this situation.
