According to information received from Turmush, the local resident who became the victim of the incident died in the hospital a day after the event.
The incident took place on March 2 at 15:50 on Lenin Street, when a passenger car struck a pedestrian crossing the roadway. The injured woman was urgently transported to the local hospital.
According to the Tokmok Center for General Medical Practice (CGMP), despite all the efforts of the doctors, the woman passed away on March 3.
The medical report indicates that the cause of death was a detached thrombus. "The patient experienced a disruption in a blood vessel, and she had a prior diagnosis of thromboembolism," the medical institution reported.
The woman was born in 1951.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting the necessary examinations to determine the driver's culpability and clarify all the circumstances of the tragedy.
