On March 7, during a working visit to Turkey, Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev visited the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Istanbul.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event was also attended by the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Ruslan Kazakbaev, the Consul General in Istanbul Chyngyz Toktobekov, as well as consulate staff.
During the visit, the minister familiarized himself with the results of the repair and restoration of the consulate buildings and assessed the conditions created for providing quality services to citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, Zheenbek Kulubaev held a meeting with the staff of the consulate general in their office.
In his speech, the minister emphasized that the main priority of the consulate is to protect the rights and interests of Kyrgyz citizens residing in Turkey. He also added that consular institutions should actively contribute to the economic development of the country, strengthen ties with international partners, and attract investments to Kyrgyzstan.
