On March 9, 2026, the new akim was introduced to the district's active members by the presidential representative in the Osh region, Amankan Kenjebaev.
Before taking on this new position, Chyngyz Bapaev worked as the akim of the Alay District.
Kanat Tabaldiev, who held the position of akim of the Kara-Suu District from August 12, 2024, to February 27, 2026, has recently been appointed as the head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) for the city of Osh and the Osh region.
