In Bishkek, a working meeting was held under the leadership of Daniyar Amangeldiev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, to discuss the current inflation situation in the country. This information was provided by the government press service.

Representatives from relevant ministries, agencies, and the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank, Azat Kozubekov, presented a detailed report on monetary policy, including an analysis of external and internal factors affecting the consumer price index, as well as inflation expectations forecasts for the near future. He emphasized the need for coordination of fiscal and monetary measures to maintain price stability.

After listening to the report and discussing it with the participants, Daniyar Amangeldiev noted that in the context of high economic growth rates, it is necessary to maintain the purchasing power of the population—this is one of the main priorities of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“Economic growth must be accompanied by strict control over inflation. We must strive to minimize the negative impact of external economic factors on the domestic market, especially concerning essential goods,” added Amangeldiev.

As a result of the discussion, the First Deputy Prime Minister instructed government agencies to develop operational measures to ensure price stability, focusing on food security and saturating the domestic market with local products.

In conclusion, Amangeldiev emphasized the importance of personal responsibility of department heads for the timely implementation of measures aimed at ensuring macroeconomic stability.
