The appointment decree was signed by Sadyr Japarov, and Chynybaev has also been relieved of his previous duties.
It was previously reported that a criminal case was initiated against Urmatbek Shamyrcanov, who held the position of head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on charges of receiving a bribe.
Chynybaev became the acting Minister of Emergency Situations on March 10. The next day, on March 11, the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh approved his appointment to this position.
