In his speech at the Jogorku Kenesh, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, noted that the authorities are not opposed to peaceful actions and rallies, but emphasized the importance of adhering to laws and respecting the traditions of the people.

The head of state pointed out the existing restrictions on holding rallies near the buildings of the prosecutor's office and courts. He also added that Gorky Park is a suitable place for such events. “Provided that the city hall is notified in advance, actions can be organized without problems,” Japarov emphasized.

Furthermore, the president addressed representatives of NGOs and activists: “It is not worth using slogans and actions that contradict the mentality and traditions of our people. A small group, consisting of less than one percent of the population, has no right to impose its rules on the rest. It is wrong to call on people to support only one side, as the emotions of 7.5 million citizens are building up,” he noted.
