At a meeting in the Jogorku Kenesh, President Sadyr Japarov expressed his view that corrupt individuals pose a greater threat than murderers. He noted: “A murderer takes the life of one person, while a corruptor can destroy an entire state. I urge you to actively participate in the fight against corruption. If you see that representatives of the authorities are engaged in theft or corrupt actions, do not hesitate to speak about it from the podium. This will be your support for me. Do not fear anyone; I will always be on your side and will protect you,” he added.
