During his speech in the Jogorku Kenesh, President Sadyr Japarov announced the search for candidates for the position of Minister of Emergency Situations. Out of the ten candidates he proposed, nine were suspected of corrupt activities.
He expressed bewilderment at the fact that there are practically no honest specialists left in the country.
“We promised the people that we would work honestly and eradicate corruption. These commitments must be fulfilled. In the next 10-15 years, we intend to be among the 30 most developed countries by income level. We see that the situation in the world is unstable, and therefore we need to unite our efforts for the good of the people and the state, not for personal interests,” the head of state emphasized.
