At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, stated that there will be no leniency in his fight against corruption, even for close relatives.
He emphasized that anti-corruption efforts in the country will continue unwaveringly, regardless of the situation.
“No one will be spared. Even if it is my own brother,” he noted.
Furthermore, Japarov added that his children and brothers do not hold any positions in the public service.
“Therefore, I feel at ease,” concluded the president.
