Ulugbek Yereshayev, an expert in public administration, highlighted the key importance of creating an effective personnel reserve. His remarks came in the context of a discussion initiated by President Sadyr Japarov at a recent parliamentary meeting. In an interview with IA "Kabar," he emphasized that a well-thought-out personnel policy is one of the main factors in the fight against corruption.
“The president pointed out alarming statistics: 9 out of 10 candidates for government positions may be linked to corrupt schemes. This is a signal for society, which is waiting for change and reforms. Although discussing such issues is not easy, ignoring our own mistakes will not allow us to correct them. Especially when it comes to the future of the country, where corruption threatens not only the achievement of goals but also citizens' trust in the authorities,” noted Yereshayev.
According to the expert, having a quality personnel reserve of professionals creates a sort of backup option for the government. In case of the need to strengthen or replace leadership, several candidates with impeccable reputations can be proposed for the position of one minister. This will allow for quick and effective personnel changes, which is extremely important given the ambitious tasks facing Kyrgyzstan,” concluded Ulugbek Yereshayev.
