According to the press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chuy region, the car accident happened around 20:08 at the intersection of Central and Birinchi Mai streets in the village of Petrovka.
It has been established that the driver of a "Mitsubishi Diamante," 35-year-old S.D.G., was traveling westward on the Bishkek–Osh highway (45 km). At that moment, at the intersection of the streets, he ran over two pedestrians who were crossing the roadway in a southern direction.
Victims:
- M.A.A., born in 1980, died at the scene from his injuries without regaining consciousness.
- K.I.Z., born in 1967, was taken to the regional hospital with injuries of varying severity.
Law enforcement officers worked at the scene of the accident. Currently, all details and circumstances of the incident are being established. An investigation is underway.
