The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCNS KR) has confirmed the information about the detention of Kuanychbek Kongantieva, who previously held the position of deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh.
A criminal case against Kongantieva, born in 1980, was initiated on March 10, 2026.
Investigative authorities suspect him of organizing illegal schemes related to land plots, involving affiliated persons.
Based on Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Kyrgyzstan, K.K.K. was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the SCNS.
