Over 1600 appeals were received by the National Bank in 2025

- In 2025, the number of citizen appeals to the National Bank reached 1622 regarding issues related to financial services. This was reported by Temirlan Baktybekov, a leading specialist in the consumer rights protection department.

Of all the complaints received, 1447 were directed specifically to the consumer rights protection department.

The most common questions are related to loans. Citizens often request changes to their loan terms or clarification on the nuances of loans.

The second most frequent complaints involve cases of financial fraud. There are also appeals related to problems with money transfers and the incompetent behavior of employees of financial institutions.

According to the National Bank, each incoming appeal undergoes thorough scrutiny. First, specialists examine the content of the complaint, and then request information from the relevant financial institution.

After receiving a response, it is checked for compliance with the law. If violations are found, measures are taken within the regulator's authority.

According to current legislation, the time frame for reviewing appeals is 14 working days; however, if additional verification is needed, this period can be extended to 30 days.

Citizens can contact the National Bank in various ways: via email, written appeals, or through the "Tündük" system.
