As part of the visit, which took place with the participation of Ramiz Aliyev, the deputy mayor, the owners of the trading pavilions were notified of the need for their demolition. This message was received from the press service of the mayor's office.

According to information from the city authorities, the pavilions are located on land designated for a green zone, where landscaping work is planned. The plots were provided for temporary use back in 2017, but violations of the terms led to the necessity of terminating the contracts.

Entrepreneurs were offered alternative locations for placement in the "Chynar" and "Alamedin bazaars," but they refused these offers.

On February 28, notifications for voluntary dismantling were handed out, but no actions were taken by the owners. On March 11, the pavilions were disconnected from electricity and water supply.

If the mayor's office's requirements continue to be ignored, forced demolition will be initiated to build a mini-park for the residents of the Alamedan-1 district on this site.
