According to Azattyk, on March 13, human rights activist Tolekan Ismailova was taken for questioning by employees of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek. This occurred after she posted information about a pre-investigation check on her Facebook page.

The publication mentions that the account of Tolekan Ismailova disseminates materials that provoke a negative reaction among users. In this regard, it was suggested to conduct operational activities against her and ensure her delivery for questioning, although it is not specified which particular publication caused such a reaction.

Ismailova also reported the detention of activist Bermet Borubaeva, who was planning to participate in a peaceful assembly.

The ban on rallies and pickets in the Pervomaisky district of Bishkek has been extended, and in 2026 it will mark four years since its introduction. The ban is imposed by the district administration, and the courts support it.

In response to questions from deputies on March 11, the president stated that the ban only applies to actions taking place in front of certain institutions, while they can be freely held in Gorky Park.
